Congratulations to the Kurri Kurri Tidy Towns Committee on another four awards for our town. The recent KABC awards in Dorrigo saw Kurri Kurri pick up another four awards to add to their impressive collection of awards since 1989. Some 35 in all. The latest were for Kurri Kurri TAFE, Cessnock City Waste Disposal site, Kurri Kurri Primary School and Highly Commended in the overall State Winner category. Tamworth won the State Title for 2008. This is a fantastic achievement for a small town such as Kurri Kurri.
